FarmMind
Happy New Year from the FarmMind team! We hope you had a wonderful holiday season.
FarmMind pushes out weekly updates to improve the platform and continue building on its powerful capabilities. For more information about any of these features, for feature recommendations, or to talk to the team about anything else, feel free to message support@farmmind.org.
Organization owners can now place restrictions on what information other members of the organization have access to based on field tags. For example, this allows an organization of consultants, growers, and workers to all be part of the same organization, and the consultant to restrict each grower to only see the information attached to each field tagged with each grower's individual tag. This still allows the consultant to interact with and see the information for all fields without having to switch between organizations.
Within these organizations, members can opt in to notifications when field notes, recommendations, pesticide application records, and irrigation events are added by team members—keeping everyone in the loop.
The master field list can now be docked to the side of the maps page for navigation or for selecting multiple fields while watching them get selected on the map in real time. Prefer the centered view? Just click the undock button to return to the previous layout.
Create map documents and attach maps to field notes, recommendations, and pesticide application documents in a standardized manner. Features include highlights, temporary notes, icons, and full customization of map coloring.
Various usability bug fixes throughout the platform to ensure a smoother experience across web and mobile.
We'll be updating our tutorial documentation and releasing videos about using these new features. Stay tuned to our tutorials page for the latest guides and walkthroughs.
