Creating a Visualization
There are multiple ways to create a visualization. First, if you go to the data visualization portal, you can select the 'Visualize' button on the right side of the screen and optionally select a file to upload.
Uploading Data
If you decide to upload a file, make sure that the data is varying in space or over time. If it varies in space, it must have the correct coordinate information on the document in order to work correctly. If you do not have a document to visualize, you can create a blank visualization by pressing the visualize button and selecting a field to visualize.
Understanding Variables
Visualizations use 'Variables' to represent different types of data. For example, a nutrient test might have variables of N, P, and K over time or over space. A pressure map might have variables of number of stinkbugs and number of weeds. You can think of these as your 'layers' to your visualization.
