Creating an Irrigation System
At the top of the irrigation page, click the yellow 'Create' button, which will start the irrigation system creation process.
Setup Process
- Choose one or more fields to create your irrigation system for.
- Choose the name of the irrigation system and the type of irrigation system.
- Choose to create a separate irrigation system for each field or to create a shared irrigation system for all fields.
Separate vs Shared Systems
The use case for creating separate irrigation systems for each field is to separately record irrigation events for each field. For other use cases including having a shared well/pipe system for multiple fields, we recommend creating a shared irrigation system.
Mapping Your System
Once you have finished putting in this information, you have the option to map out your irrigation system. You don't need to be an engineer to be able to use our irrigation system mapper: We've tried to make it as easy as possible for anyone to use.
