Creating Field Notes
There are multiple ways to create a field note in FarmMind, depending on your workflow and where you are in the application.
Three Ways to Create
1. From the Map
Select multiple fields and press Create Document, then select Create Field Note. The field note will reference all of those selected fields.
2. From the Folder Tree
Traverse through the folder tree and press 'Create' at the bottom, then select 'Field Note'.
3. Using AI Assistant
At any time, press the 'AI' button at the top of the screen. This opens a window with our FarmMind Guide AI. Simply tell it to create a field note for specific fields and describe the note content, and it will automatically create it for you. For example: "Create a field note for Bob's fields about pest sightings."
Field Note Creator Interface
When you are in the field notes creator, you can input:
- Name: A descriptive title for your field note
- Location: The field or area the note applies to
- Sections: Each with content, sublocations, times, and counters
Final Options
At the bottom of the field note, you can:
- Add more sections as needed
- Add the current weather for the field
- Save the note
